DAILY SERMONS

DAY TWELVE

PROVISION OF GRACE

Being a gracious God, once in a while, God may look at somebody and say,“Alright, having shown him my power, let us give him another opportunity to repent so that he can be restored”. This was what happened to Nebuchadnezzar. I was amazed at the power of grace each time I study the story of king Nebuchadnezzar. He was dethroned for seven years yet nobody took his throne. In those days, the battle was intense to grab the throne. Kings fought one another to overthrow their opponents; even children fought to dethrone their fathers. Yet, Nebuchadnezzar throne was kept for him. That was nothing but grace. The bibles says in Acts 15:11 “But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they” Have you backslidden? Are you down in the pit of sin and you look beaten, defeated and crushed? You could be back on your feet. There is restoration at His presence. Call on Him to restore you now. You can receive of God’s grace this moment if only you are willing.
